Yes, it is an art.
I love to knit. It is very relaxing and I have done this craft for years, even written a lot about the journey, written and published, and sold patterns. But now I'm re-learning to crochet. What an awesome art. I'm excited to learn something new, or re-learn a craft I did as a child. It came back so natural I surprised myself, and my very artsy sister!!

I believe I made this in about 9 or 10 hours, which includes taking it out and restarting several times. I attempted to knit a dress with the same yarn and took it out 7 times before finding this pattern on YouTube to crochet.

Learn to Crochet anywhere, and with any technology. - Even books Several available on Kindle.
There are so many books on Crochet. Sometimes, I'd rather have a book at my side to page through rather than the laptop balanced on the arm of the sofa. Other times I have my Kindle Fire at my side paging through instructions. If I'm in the car, I have my iPhone tuned in to YouTube looking at the next step of the instructions.
